After dinner? Whatever time allows you to be most at ease and totally disposed to meet the Holy Trinity. Don't forget, once you begin you will not want to stop. Be sure to give yourself 3 hours plus. Heart nice and clean? Teeth clean? Hair combed? Neatly attired? Be comfortable and presentable. You are God's child.

Our lives should be one constant prayer, in love, in thanksgiving, in service, in petition, in peace and quiet. Our prayer life should be no different here than it will be in Heaven.
"Loving Father, each day of creation, you saw what you
created and said it was good.[1]
On the last day Father, you looked at everything you created and you said it
was very good. [2]
Father, each day of my life may my spirit see what I did that day and with you say, “It was good.” On the last day of my life, may I look back and see what I did with you Father. With you may I also say, “It was very good.”"
