wouldn't it be great to be able to pray with your beloved after he or she has left this world?
What Florence and I have done, is to record (on cassette or on CD) each spouse praying the Rosary, but leaving out the responses. For example, Florence would pray and record the "I believe in God..., the Our Father..., the Hail Mary..., the Glory be... and the mysteries. She would pray the responses in silence (recording still on but no sound for the responses).
If Florence should be the first to leave this earth, I would put on the tape and during these silent periods I would respond, praying the Rosary out loud with her.
You have no idea how comforting it is to pray the Rosary and to hear the voice of your beloved spouse leading or responding with you.
Don't put this off. This is a treasure beyond price. When that day comes and you are alone, you will be able to pray the rosary "with your spouse" when he/she is not there."
