Chapter 22. Differences between souls and angels.

Souls and angels have different spiritual compositions.

Here is the soul of a person, as we saw earlier.

Here is the soul without its energy-cells. Still not an angel.

Since an angel does not have a body, i.e. no flesh and blood or organs, it does not require energy-cells.

Here is a soul without its mantle. Still not an angel.

Since an angel does not have a body, it does not require a mantle for the movement of limbs and body parts.

Here is an angel.

In this graphic, we do not see energy cells, or a mantle, or “connectors” (hair-like threads) in the spirit- only the spirit; in other words we see a spirit that could be an angel.

Until our bodies are glorified, I believe our souls will look like the spirits of angels. We will retain all our “soul parts,” which will probably be concealed within our spirit. We saw how a soul can be small enough to permeate a zygote cell, and large enough to enclose and permeate a fully-grown man, for it grows with the shape, size and growth of the human,[1] so, there is no difficulty for the spirit to conceal the mantle and the energy/cells.

Our Brother Paul tells us, that angels are spirits.

“But to which of the angels has he ever said: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool"? Are they not all ministering spirits sent to serve, for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?” [2]

Unless God provides otherwise, we cannot see angels with the eyes of the flesh, anymore than we can see souls with the eyes of the flesh. Our spirits are like angels however, except we have been equipped with a soul for our bodily movements, and alas our bodies suffer the punishment of corruption.

BUT, we have been blessed far more than the angels, since Jesus took on a body like ours and became our Brother. Jesus taught us personally who we are, how to live, how to be like Him, how to minister to God. He nourishes us with his own Body and Blood. In many instances he has favored some of us to achieve a state of holiness higher than the angels. Indeed, in Jesus Christ, our Lord and King, we are already seated at our Father’s right hand.[3]

These blessings more than make up being burdened with a body that is corrupt. God has demonstrated his incredible Love for you and me, so much so there is nothing more he can do. Throw your arms around Him now, and cleave to Him every moment until your pilgrimage is over on this earth. Earlier in this book we already looked at the speed with which angels travel vs. the speed with which a soul (on this earth) can travel, and the intelligence of the angels vs. the intelligence of a rational soul.
